A Local Guy Who Got
Tired of Watching Good Businesses Lose.
I'm Dan Lee. I've lived in North Carolina for 26 years — Charlotte first, Salisbury since 2017. I work in reporting, which means I spend a lot of time looking at data and figuring out why things work or don't work. And one pattern I kept seeing with local businesses was hard to ignore.
The Problem I Kept Seeing
Good, hardworking tradespeople — HVAC techs, plumbers, electricians — losing jobs not because they were bad at their work, but because they couldn't respond fast enough. A customer submits a quote request and the first business to call back gets the job. That's just the reality.
Most of these owners are on a job site all day. They can't be glued to their phone. They miss the lead, the customer calls the next guy on Google, and that's money gone. It happens dozens of times a month and most owners don't even realize how much it's costing them.
Why I Built This
AI has gotten genuinely useful in the last couple of years. Not sci-fi useful — practically useful. It can read a customer's message, understand what they need, and write back something professional and helpful in seconds. That's it. No magic. Just speed and consistency.
I figured if I could wire that up for a local home service business — handle the first response, alert the owner, and follow up after jobs — they'd stop losing jobs to whoever happened to be sitting by their phone. So I built AITaskForceHQ to do exactly that.
Why Local, Why Salisbury
I'm not trying to sell software to companies in 50 states. I'm starting here, with businesses I can actually meet and talk to. Salisbury has a real community of hardworking trade businesses and they deserve the same tools big companies use — without the big company price tag or the 18-month implementation timeline.
When you work with AITaskForceHQ, you're working with me directly. You can email me, call me, or meet for coffee if something isn't right. That's not something you get from a software company in San Francisco.
What I'm Not
I'm not going to oversell this. AI is a tool, not a miracle. It handles the fast, repetitive communication work really well. It won't replace your expertise, your reputation, or your relationships with customers. It just makes sure those customers actually hear from you before they call someone else.
If that sounds like something worth 30 minutes of your time, I'd be glad to show you exactly how it works.
